Always felt lucky, to go over to Ireland on holidays. I remember spending a lot time, in old house and new house. I loved going picking potatoes with nanny ann and marion. Chasing after cows and sheep. collecting eggs from the hens, Going up mountains. There was always excitement back at nannys, never a dull moment. I remember the Sweeney van would come,( like charlie and chocolate factory ) well to us it felt that way. we were treated to some goodies...it would not be loads now, but us it was huge. songs and stories, and music.
